AI Interrogation Walkthrough – How to Get a Confession Every Time

You’ve been locked in a room with one suspect and ten typed questions. If you can get a full confession before your tries run out, you win. If not, the suspect walks free and you have to start the case over. This AI Interrogation walkthrough explains exactly how the game works, how the official tone rule affects your questions, and what you can do to beat every case.

What Is AI Interrogation?

AI Interrogation is a single-player Roblox experience created by the group TrueTalk AI. You are the interrogator. The suspect is an AI that reacts to the words you type into a terminal. The official description says you are locked in a room with a suspect who refuses to talk and you have 10 tries to get a full confession. If you fail, the suspect is released.

The storefront advertises smart AI responses, 6 unique base cases, and a brand new case every day. The six permanent cases have corresponding official badges: The Bar Incident (Case 1), The Heist (Case 2), The Painting Stealer (Case 3), The CEO killer (Case 4), and The House Burner (Case 5). Case 6 exists but does not have a published badge in the current snapshot.

Sessions are solo. The Roblox universe API reports maxPlayers as 1, so there is no multiplayer interrogation.

How the Interrogation System Works

You ask questions by typing them into the terminal. Each question counts as one try, up to ten total. The AI evaluates your question’s tone and content and responds accordingly. The suspect will not confess if you are aggressive or rude — they shut down. If you are too friendly, they lie. The official tone rule says: if you are too mean they shut down; if you are too nice they lie.

The goal is to strike a balance. You want to be firm but respectful. Accusatory questions often trigger shutdowns. Leading questions may produce lies. Open-ended, neutral questions tend to keep the suspect talking without triggering a defensive response.

The suspect’s responses change based on the case. A bartender in Case 1 will reference different details than the heist crew in Case 2. You cannot copy-paste the same question list across all cases and expect a confession.

Walkthrough Strategy for Every Case

No official source publishes the exact questions that produce a confession for any case. That means there is no single script that works every time. Instead, learn the pattern that the AI responds to.

Phase 1: Build Rapport (Tries 1–3)

Start with neutral questions that establish context. Ask about the suspect’s role, their location at the time of the incident, or their relationship to the victim or crime scene. Avoid accusations like “Did you do it?” or “You are guilty.”

If the suspect gives a short answer or refuses to elaborate, rephrase gently. Do not repeat the same question — the AI may treat repetition as hostility.

Phase 2: Challenge the Story (Tries 4–7)

Once the suspect has given a version of events, introduce contradictions. Point out gaps in their timeline or mention evidence that conflicts with their story. Keep your tone calm. A question like “You said you were at the bar at 9 PM, but the witness says you left early — can you explain that?” is safer than “You’re lying!”

Watch for defensive responses. If the suspect becomes evasive, back off with a clarifying question before pressing again.

Phase 3: Secure the Confession (Tries 8–10)

If you have built enough trust and exposed contradictions, the suspect may confess when asked directly. You still need to phrase it carefully. Instead of “Confess now”, try “Can you tell me what really happened?” or “It’s time to tell the truth.”

If the suspect still refuses, you have run out of tries and the case fails. Use your remaining tries wisely — never waste a question on an aggressive demand.

Notes on the Daily Case

A new case appears every day. It replaces the current daily case and is separate from the six base cases. The same interrogation strategy applies, but the suspect’s personality and backstory change. You cannot rely on prior knowledge of that suspect’s answers.

The daily case does not have a dedicated badge, so there is no permanent record of completion.

Badge Completion Guide

Five badges are currently published. Each corresponds to completing one of the first five cases:

Badge NameRequirement
The Bar IncidentComplete Case 1
The HeistComplete Case 2
The Painting StealerComplete Case 3
The CEO killerComplete Case 4
The House BurnerComplete Case 5

To earn a badge, you must get a full confession for that case within ten tries. There is no shortcut or cheat code. The same interrogation principles apply to all five.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Being too aggressive: The suspect shuts down and you waste a try. If the AI stops responding entirely, you have already failed. Restart the case.
  • Being too friendly: The suspect lies, and you cannot tell whether you have the truth. You may waste tries on false leads.
  • Repeating questions: The AI may interpret this as a sign of weakness or hostility. Each question should move the conversation forward.
  • Using yes/no questions: They produce short answers that give you little to work with. Ask open-ended questions that require explanation.
  • Running out of tries: Ten questions is not many. Think before you type. If you are unsure, ask a neutral clarifying question instead of a risky accusation.

Final Tips

  • Practice on Case 1 first. It has the simplest narrative and the lowest difficulty.
  • Restart immediately if you sense the suspect has shut down or started lying beyond recovery. It is faster than wasting remaining tries.
  • Do not search for “confession scripts” online. They are player-generated and unverified. They may work for some players but fail for others due to tone variations.
  • The AI learns from your wording, not from your intent. Choose your words carefully.
